Atomic Age Film Fest ꟾ Untold Stories. Unseen Cinema

This year, the International Uranium Film Festival will once again bring powerful films to Berlin. The 10th International Uranium Film Festival in Berlin will focus on the global nuclear threat.

The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the first atomic explosion in New Mexico and the subsequent nuclear destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by US atomic bombs.

But even today, the danger has not been averted: nine countries collectively possess more than 12,000 nuclear warheads – the nuclear threat continues to exist.

The International Uranium Film Festival (IUFF) makes a comprehensive contribution to independent education about nuclear power and its dangers. It uses the medium of film to address the topic of radioactivity and the entire nuclear fuel cycle, as well as its consequences for the environment and human beings.
The IUFF's overarching goal is to raise awareness of the risks and consequences of nuclear energy and uranium mining worldwide.
