The Ukrainian Institute in Germany invites you to a year-end concert at Villa Elisabeth on 3 December. The concert will combine musical tradition and contemporary composition with cultural and political encounters in a public format.

Soloists Kateryna Suprun and Kateryna-Sofiia Shyk, along with the Mriya Quartet and Orchestra, will perform pieces by Borys Ljatoschynskyj, Jewhen Stankowytsch and Zoltán Almásy. The latter's new composition, 'The Seasons', was written specifically for the Institute and will be premiered in Berlin.

These musical pieces showcase Ukrainian art music within a European context, demonstrating how artistic expression can shape identity during periods of political unrest.

The evening will open with contributions from Dr Kateryna Rietz-Rakul, Serap Güler, and the Ukrainian Ambassador, Oleksii Makeiev. Following the concert, the Institute will invite guests to a reception to continue the dialogue between art, diplomacy and civil society.
