From December 4th to 21st, 2025, Theater28 will host its award-winning Turkish-German Theatre Festival for the tenth time at Ballhaus Prinzenallee. As an intercultural player in Berlin's cultural scene, Theater28 specializes in organizing cultural events for people of Turkish descent in Berlin and making Turkish theatre accessible to a broad audience. Cultural exchange is always at the heart of the festival.

The aim is to bring the theatrical worlds of Turkey and Germany closer together to promote inclusion and intercultural understanding. The festival encourages new ways of thinking and develops alternative narrative perspectives by using history as a source of inspiration and reflection. For where creative thinking is given space, a significant contribution to the future viability of society is made.
This year, the festival once again presents a diverse selection of productions: from works from the theatre metropolis of Istanbul, which often address socio-political issues, to pieces from renowned private theatres, some of which have existed for more than half a century and have become cultural institutions.
