The Treffen junge Musik-Szene offers talented young musicians a platform to present their self-composed music, their texts, observations and points of view.

In addition to public concerts, the Treffen creates a creative meeting space where young musicians can exchange ideas and receive support from professionals on the path to their own artistic signature beyond the mainstream.
The competition is open to all modern styles: songs from the fields of pop, singer-songwriter, rap, rock as well as electronic music, sound experiments, sound design, video, radio play or game music can be submitted.
The National Competition Meeting Young Music Scene of the Berliner Festspiele is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
