Room for creative activity - indoors and outdoors

The youth art schools in the Kulturforum Hellersdorf work as part of a municipal network with partners from the areas of school, culture and youth leisure. It offers aesthetic and artistic education for children and young people during school hours, in the afternoons and during vacations.

Workshops and project days for school classes take place several times a week. In line with the framework curricula, artistic approaches to topics are made possible and artistic-research-based learning and expression are encouraged.

During the vacations and in the afternoons, open offers, courses and projects provide a wide range of opportunities to engage in artistic activities.

The offer includes the teaching of artistic basics, the deepening of existing inclinations and interests, up to a portfolio course as preparation for studies in the artistic field. All offers are carried out in small groups and accompanied by artists and art teachers. In addition to teaching artistic and craft skills, great emphasis is placed on strengthening the ability of students from Marzahn-Hellersdorf to express themselves and reflect.
