Edit Kaldor
The book “A Theatre of Powerlessness” contains critical essays and conversations between international artists and activists who explore practices of knowledge generation from the perspective of powerlessness and marginalized experiences. The book takes as its starting point the theater project “Inventory of Powerlessness” (2013–2016), which Edit Kaldor also staged at the HAU in 2015 as part of “The Power of Powerlessness.”
Edit Kaldor is a theater maker and author based in Amsterdam who is internationally recognized as a unique voice in the contemporary theater landscape.
“A Theatre of Powerlessness” is edited by Edit Kaldor and Joe Kelleher, professor emeritus of theater and performance.
