Against the romantic backdrop of Schönhausen Palace, there will be an opportunity to buy presents, enjoy the first mulled wine of the season and get into the contemplative pre-Christmas mood on the first weekend of Advent from 1 to 3 December 2023 - all in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
In cooperation with visitBerlin, the Pankow district economic development agency is organising the sustainable manufactory Christmas market in Schönhausen Palace Park. On Saturday 02.12.2023 at 14:30, the district mayor Dr Cordelia Koch welcomes all visitors.
Many local and regional manufactory products from fashion, art and crafts will be represented at the Christmas market and invite you to get to know and stroll around. There is sure to be a gift idea for everyone! This year there is a special highlight: four manufacturers from the fields of ceramics and wood art as well as corsetry and jewellery design will be presenting their products in a live performance.
With a concept that consistently focuses on waste avoidance and sustainably produced products at the stalls, the Christmas market at Schönhausen Palace combines Christmas spirit with environmental awareness.
A special focus is placed on the craft sector. 30 local producers offer mulled wine, Christmas biscuits, fashion items, handicrafts and all kinds of gift ideas at the market.
The colourful stage programme for the whole family begins on Friday at 15:30 with the children's theatre Varia Vineta "Snow White". The wind instruments and choirs ring in the Advent season with their music, and singing along is encouraged and permitted.
