The Urbanhafen is one of Berlin's most popular summer spots – but unfortunately, after picnics and sunbathing, something often remains that no one needs: trash.

Urbanhafen am Landwehrkanal
Clean parks and waterfront areas are not a given, but the result of shared responsibility.
For this reason, wirBERLIN invites you to a big cleanup at the Urbanhafen on July 23, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The meeting point is the green space on Carl-Herz-Ufer, directly in front of the Van Loon restaurant ship. The goal of the event is to clear the Landwehrkanal and its surroundings of trash and to jointly set an example for a clean cityscape.
Trash tongs, buckets, and gloves will be provided – if you'd like, you can also bring your own.
The event will be accompanied by the wirBERLIN infomobile, a bottle cap and cigarette butt counter, and powerful retrieval magnets, which will provide additional collecting fun.
A clean summer feeling at the Urbanhafen – it takes everyone!
