Postpunk basslines, reverberating guitars, vocals with that certain extra something that is called "sneer" in English - and which has never been adequately translated into German. That's STONE from Liverpool. Their sound is positioned somewhere between current UK acts like Fontaines D.C. and the classic drive of the early Arctic Monkeys.
After the pandemic slowed down the start of the young band, Fin Power (vocals/guitar), Sarah Surrage (bass), Elliot Gill (lead guitar) and Alex Smith (drums) are eager to rock the stages. Their first UK tour is completely sold out. But in the meantime they are recording more new songs before coming to Berlin for their debut in September.
