From June 13 to 19, 2026, stakeholders, institutions, and initiatives are invited to participate with events and activities that highlight sustainable engagement in the areas of transportation, education, social services, and nature conservation.
This year, too, the focus is on making sustainability tangible.
Planned activities include factory tours where visitors can gain insights into how companies and businesses in Spandau integrate sustainable practices into their daily operations. Additionally, cleanup campaigns in collaboration with local civil society actors are planned.
Sustainability Week aims to help highlight the diverse commitment to sustainability in Spandau, connect key stakeholders and institutions, and raise public awareness of sustainable issues and projects.
An afternoon program will also take place at the Nature Conservation Station as part of Sustainability Week.
From 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., there will be an introduction to the station’s work, during which current projects will be presented. This will be followed by a walk around the Hahneberg, including a litter cleanup.
Unfortunately, the protected areas of the Hahneberg recreational area must be regularly cleared of trash. Everyone can contribute to this effort.
The event is open to the public and free of charge, but the organizers would appreciate a small donation to the Nature Conservation Station!
Meeting point:
- Hahneberg Nature Conservation Station, Heerstraße 549, 13593 Berlin
