The installation NEW RELICS immerses the viewer in a metaphysical exploration of the time-space continuum. It creates a feeling of timelessness and transports you to a supernatural realm in which past, present and future mingle.

Composed of two inflatable objects, the work represents particular symbols from different eras and cultures that intersect in an undefined space. The first of the two figures represents the hand of Buddha, the other is a replica of the surviving hand of the statue of Constantine the Great in Rome. Beyond their physical presence, the large balloon sculptures form a psychological landscape in which time becomes elastic and the boundaries between past and present blur.
