Paul: Are you coming? I'm downstairs. (Long pause, nothing happens, no answer. Silence. Paul runs out of the house onto the street, starts jogging – the stage revolves – and meets Claudia, who is just returning from her jog.)
I think it's outrageous that you just ran off! I've been waiting down here for 30 minutes. I told you that, too. You practically snuck past. I find your behavior unacceptable. That you always make things up. It's a shame. YOU'RE the one who always ruins the intimacy. That's YOU. I'm starting to understand that more and more. It hurts. (Pause) I'm only just starting my run now. Please let me sleep in tomorrow.
