On 16 and 17 January 2026, the Kalle Halle in Berlin-Neukölln will dedicate itself to contemporary roller skating culture under the title ‘Skate Dance Eat Repeat’.

In collaboration with Oumi Janta and the Jam Skate Club, the area's winter garden will be transformed into a temporary space for movement and socialising.

The two-day event will feature a variety of activities, including workshops and dance classes, as well as open jam sessions. The focus will be on the social aspect of skating and the inclusive nature of urban movement practices, rather than technical performance.

There will be a wide range of activities on offer, including introductory courses for children and beginners, specific dance classes, and evening 'roller discos' accompanied by house and funk sets. This event forms part of the utilisation concept for Kalle Halle, which has been operating as a culinary marketplace and venue for socio-cultural exchange since September 2025.

By combining accessible catering and participatory event formats, the venue creates an inclusive offering for people of all ages in the urban space.
