silent green presents
With silent green Open Lab, silent green is establishing a new format for young Berlin musicians taking their first steps on stage – beyond the pressure of expectations or market-oriented presentation.
Supporting young talent and revealing artistic processes is very important to us at silent green — and that’s exactly what Open Lab is about. It is intentionally not a pure showcase but a space of possibility: for stepping into the public, for encounters, for resonance, and further development.
Berlin-based artist and producer AV FREYA blends the storytelling essence of her singer-songwriter background with immersive soundscapes intertwining electronic and acoustic textures. Her experimental dream pop weaves airy vocals with floating synths, guitar, and intricate rhythms into a sonic fabric that gently blurs the line between the organic and the digital. Fusing left-field, ambient, and avant-pop influences, her music flows between futuristic edges and nostalgic warmth.
At the heart of her productions lies a fascination with sound design – layering detailed sonic textures to explore themes of healing, critical reflection, and finding strength through vulnerability. Rooted in electronic experimentation and pop sensibility, her music shapes spaces where softness and distortion coexist in harmony.
With her upcoming debut EP NOT THE END, AV FREYA is poised to make new waves in Berlin's alternative pop scene.
When Lily Beltane takes the stage, her voice seems to float above the guitar chords. Her timbre evokes singers like Joni Mitchell or Linda Perhacs from the 1970s, yet her songs already bear a distinctive signature of their own: dreamy verses flow into dynamic choruses, taking the listener on an emotional and reflective journey. In addition to acoustic arrangements, she has experimented with string sections and electronic effects that complement her melodies.
Through words and language, the British-German newcomer explores questions of perception, depicts asymmetrical relationships, and processes emotions such as speechlessness, love, and rivalry in her songs.Small pop moments with earworm potential bring lightness and strength to her often introspective and intimate music.
