SHELTERS _in_direct strike
SHELTERS_in_direct_strike is a performance by Ukrainian artist Andrii Romanenko on the topics of bombings, sheltering and war extending beyond its frontiers. Drawing on civilian testimonies and documentation of contemporary warfare, the performance confronts this material through the body of the performer and explores human vulnerability in the face of war.
Anchored in open exchange with the audience, it invites collective reflection on urgent questions: How does war extend beyond the war-zones and what can people do when it reaches them fully?
