That same year, he followed up with ‘Poz’, a track that brought him to the attention of a wider audience and cemented his decision to pursue a professional career. In 2019, he followed up with songs such as ‘Up Down’ and “362”, and in February 2020, he released the collaboration ‘Başa Sar’ with Aerro and Yase.


However, his big breakthrough was still to come – until 2021. With ‘Bilmem mi?’, a song with reggaeton elements, Sefo struck a chord with an entire generation. The song quickly became one of the most listened to songs in Turkey and was clicked millions of times on streaming platforms. He received a diamond award from Sony Music Turkey for this achievement – a milestone in his career. But Sefo did not rest on his laurels. He had already released the popular track ‘Bonita’ with Reynmen.


In 2022, he expanded his sphere of influence to Germany: together with rapper Capo, he recorded the song ‘Isabelle’, which was a big hit not only in Turkey but also in German-speaking countries. He achieved further success with singer Demet Akalın.Their collaboration ‘Yerinde Dur’ catapulted Sefo into the German Top 10 singles charts for the first time – a rare achievement for a Turkish pop artist.


Sefo embodies the new generation of Turkish musicians who combine modern beats, international influences and Turkish lyrics. His hometown of Samsun remains an integral part of his identity – even though his career has long since taken him to international stages. With his mix of pop, rap and reggaeton, Sefo has become a voice that is heard far beyond the borders of Turkey.
