Concert & Social Dance (everybody can dance)

Swing is the music of the 1930s and 1940s, when jazz was still pop, when movies were black and white, and life was full of color. And the Savoy Ballroom remains the symbol of the swing era, a place where people could dance and celebrate together—regardless of their background.

The Savoy Satellites have been on the road since 2012—mostly as a quartet or as an all-star octet. With energetic rhythms for Lindy Hop lovers, they put everyone in a good mood. At the Theater im Delphi, they perform as an octet led by singer Siri Svegler, bringing the songs of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Benny Goodman back to life. DJ Stephan Wuthe will get the crowd going before and after the show. Expect swing at its finest and plenty of opportunity to hit the dance floor yourself!
