On this vast open space, the soil is not only a significant recreational area but also an outstanding site for biotope and species conservation, for our water, and for the urban climate. Learn how the soil here formed and how it reflects the historical use of the field.
Tour participants will spend most of their time in the area of the first airport building from the 1920s. Although this so-called Old Harbor was destroyed after World War II, its remains still shape the landscape of the northern airfield today, allowing us to approach the history of the soil and vegetation from a completely different perspective.
The team looks forward to going on a journey of discovery with you!
