Ensemble Memoria was founded in 2023 as a chamber choir at Berlin's Gedächtniskirche (Memorial Church) by ambitious and motivated singers under the direction of Sebastian Heindl.

Musical performances are regularly organized at the Gedächtniskirche and varied programs are presented with a broad repertoire, ranging from concert performances with chamber orchestra (Handel, Vivaldi) to demanding a cappella programs in the rbb3 radio service (Distler, Poulenc, Martin).
