Concert as part of the "Sounds of Hope" series

"Rejoice, be glad, arise, praise the day" – this will once again resound in the Church of Hope. The festive Parts I-III of Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio BWV 248 will be performed, and you are invited to sing along with the chorales.

There are few other musical works that can give such timeless, immediate, and comprehensive expression and form to the joy of Christ's birth, the Advent anticipation and Christmas fulfillment, and God's intimate, miraculous, and unconditional love for humankind.

This year, the work will be performed in a version with piano accompaniment, without orchestra.

It is a collaborative project between the Church of Hope Choir and the mixed choir "Klangvielfalt" from Prenzlauer Berg, directed by Marianna Glusberg.

The sheet music for singing along will be available via the website and a QR code; printed copies will also be available.
