The inventory of the palaces and gardens, including furniture, paintings and a wide range of works of art, some of which are still preserved today, paints an impressive panorama of women's lives in the first half of the 19th century.
Rudolf G. Scharmann, former director of the Charlottenburg Palace Department, will present his new book and then give a guided tour on the subject in the New Pavilion.
