Campus Cinema 2026
A single moment decides their fate: Konrad is left behind and arrested—and the Wall separates the young couple for decades. From then on, their lives unfold in two different worlds; their meetings remain rare exceptions, taking place secretly in Prague. Caught between hope and alienation, they experience the Cold War, political rapprochement, and finally the fall of the Wall. A moving drama about missed opportunities and the power of love that transcends borders.
Margarethe von Trotta was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize for this film.
