Publishers in Marzahn-Hellersdorf
Publishing in what is now the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district began at the beginning of the 20th century. Newspapers and postcards were initially published, and from the 1920s onwards book publishers also emerged. Some companies operated far beyond the region.

With the construction of large housing estates, the number of local newspapers, often published by companies, increased. After 1990 and due to digitalization from the 2000s onwards, the publishing landscape changed increasingly.
Publishers that no longer exist are presented. Some of the objects presented are on display for the first time in an exhibition.
