Polaris Theme Day
Just before the Berlin premiere of *Polaris*, you can talk with experts about the changes taking place in Antarctica. Almost all of the speakers were “overwinterers” (ÜWIs) at the “Neumayer III” Antarctic research station.

Aurelia Hölzer (station director, physician, and author), Julia Gütting (station director and physician), Jan-Christoph Gockel (director of Polaris), Nikolaus Geyrhalter (documentary director of MELT!), and Carel Mohn (climate communication expert) will discuss everything from research and daily life at the station to art projects that can change perceptions of Antarctica.
And in front of a large panoramic wall, visitors can take a selfie while wearing authentic snowsuits.
