The theater closes! The curtain falls, the lights go out. Everyone has left – the director, the actors, and the rest. Only Ophelia remains. But suddenly she realizes: There's someone else – a shadow!

Ophelia stands alone on the large, empty stage and remembers her time as a prompter – this was always her home. Now she takes the lonely shadow into her home. Soon, more shadows arrive, belonging to no one, and they all find a new home with Ophelia.

But one day, trouble strikes:
Ophelia has to leave her apartment. Fortunately, the shadows have a wonderful idea – and so a new, exciting chapter begins for all of them. Director Sviatlana Zalesakaya-Ben brings Michael Ende's poetic story to the stage as a loving drama and shadow play at the Theater Morgenstern.

A play adapted by Sviatlana Zaleskaya-Ben and Dirk Brauner as a lively picture book with acting, live music, and shadow play.
