The young friends of the Berlinische Galerie, ‘Jung und Artig’, are joining forces with the Berlinische Galerie and the Mobile Kino to present a summery open-air evening of contemporary video art.

Berlinische Galerie, Open Air Video Art & Artist Talk
The focus is on the new video work ‘like moths to light’ by the artist Gala Hernández López. Before the screening, the artist and Anne Bitterwolf, curator of the Berlinische Galerie’s video programme, will discuss the work in an artist talk.
From 6.30 pm, DJ Nycky Estrella will be spinning tunes on the museum terrace, accompanied by drinks and an ART BARBECUE by the artist Jean-Christophe Massinon. The artist talk begins at 7.30 pm, followed by the film screening.
ART BARBECUE
With the installation ART BARBECUE, the landscape architects at atelier le balto are once again celebrating the work “Proposition N°7 pour passer une bonne journée” (2003) by the artist Jean-Christophe Massinon (1962–2011).
On 3 September, they will be hosting an event outside the Berlinische Galerie from 6.30 pm; there will be sausages and vegetarian dishes on the barbecue – free of charge and outdoors (whilst stocks last).
