as part of the “KAHO im Kiez” event series
Summer is the perfect time to enjoy culture under the open sky. Together with Theatergasse für Alle, the Stiftung Stadtkultur is therefore organizing a small open-air series this year called “KAHO im Kiez,” which will take place, among other locations, in the outdoor area of the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst.
The film “Zwei zu eins” is set in the summer of 1990, shortly after reunification, and tells the story of three friends who discover millions in now-worthless East German marks in an old mine tunnel.
Together with their neighbors, they devise a plan to exchange the money for valuable goods. This humorous story about friendship, solidarity, and the upheaval in East Germany is based on true events.
Admission is free.
Seating is limited. Feel free to bring your own blanket or folding chair.
No advance registration is required.
