Scenic reading with the Kalliope team

From the life of the Brothers Grimm:When the first illustrated edition of Grimm's Children's and Household Tales was published 200 years ago in 1825, it marked the beginning of an unprecedented success story. The Grimm brothers unearthed a treasure that has lost none of its lustre, even in this hectic times.

At that time, it was to their credit that they preserved the centuries-old fairy tales, passed down by word of mouth, from oblivion. It was their first joint work, and they were to live and work together until the end of their lives.

Letters, testimonials, interesting anecdotes, beautiful old folk songs and a Grimm fairy tale bring their lives and work back to life in this programme.

The KALLIOPE TEAM consists of Gisela Gulu, Lusako Karonga and Timur Enikeev.
In their more than 20 years of existence, they have won over a wide audience with their literary and musical portraits of famous personalities from literature and history. Their venues include numerous libraries, museums and meeting places in Berlin and Brandenburg.
