Elli doesn't feel comfortable in the children's room. How can she know that everything will stay the same in the dark? And then one night it happens. Elli finds herself in the house of the octopus lady and learns to understand that despite her suction cups, ink and tentacles, the lady also has fears that she can only overcome with Elli's help.
Little brothers are a nuisance. They are loud, always play differently than you want them to – and chase you out of your mother's bed: Hoshe is now too big and Elli is old enough to sleep alone in the children's room. But Elli doesn't feel comfortable there. How can she know that in the dark, when the lights are out, everything will stay the same and nothing will change?
Because one night it happens. Elli finds herself in the house of the octopus lady. Here, door knobs, walls and floors come to life, she meets her goldfish Mr Puddles again – and ultimately learns that even the lady, despite her suction cups, ink and tentacles, has fears that she can only overcome with Elli's help.
