Artist Danielle de Picciotto has created a new screen print edition exclusively for tipBerlin. The release party at Kunstraum Mekan 2 will feature an exhibition of her works, accompanied by the artist herself on the decks.

‘Marlene and her friends’ is the title of Danielle de Picciotto's screen print. In the new screen print edition, Marlene Dietrich appears in a youthful guise as the inspiring spirit, myth and patron of the tough Berlin women.
Against the symbolic backdrop of a constantly changing environment – Allesandersplatz – stand Françoise Cactus, Käthe Kruse, Gudrun Gut, Christiane Rösinger and Maruscha, who have become famous and influential as musicians, artists, label operators, DJs, authors and in many other roles.
