"Die Anschlags - Russlands Spione unter uns" is a six-part podcast by WDR and NDR. You can listen to it in the ARD Audiothek. The authors spent more than a year researching. They investigate the double life of an espionage couple called "Anschlag".
They drive across Germany, visit neighbors of the spies, talk to ex-illegals and travel to Austria and the Netherlands. They talk to constitutional protection officers and secret service experts about the Anschlags and the deployment of other Russian spies in today's Europe, which is characterized by the war in Ukraine.
