Free concerts as part of the EU project, '1000+ Concerts'.
From 14 to 19 December 2025, the Musethica international education programme will be visiting Berlin once again.
Under the artistic direction of the Australian-Korean violinist Suyeon Kang, the young Fiori Quartet — founded at the Hanns Eisler School of Music — will work on pieces by Debussy, Beethoven and Friedrich Hermann during an intensive week of concerts.
The programme aims to combine musical excellence with social relevance, with the students performing not only in concert halls but also in social institutions such as clinics, schools, and prisons. This will broaden their understanding of music education and audience engagement.
The week will conclude with two public concerts:
16 December at 7.30pm at Ballhaus Wedding (registration required)
19 December at 7pm in the Krönungskutschen-Saal of the Neuer Marstall (free admission, no registration required).
This concert series forms part of the EU-funded project, '1000+ Concerts:
Innovating Higher Music Education Through Social Inclusion', combining artistic training and social engagement.
