Berlin-Friedrichshain is getting a new winter meeting place with the ‘Glühwald am Ufer Platz’, which combines urban flair with a cosy atmosphere.

Starting on 14 November, a winter wonderland will be created in front of the Uber Arena and will remain open until 4 January 2026.
Visitors can enjoy winter in the middle of the city in rustic wooden huts, by fire pits and under subdued lighting, whether before a concert, after a game or just for fun.
Admission is free, and the family-friendly design encourages visitors to relax and linger.
The Glühwald offers a diverse selection of culinary delights: From mulled wine and homemade punch to hearty classics and vegetarian and vegan dishes, there is something for everyone.
Heated seating areas and reservable 'feeding troughs' are available for groups. Thus, the Glühwald fits into Berlin's winter cultural landscape as a quiet, stylish alternative to the city's bustling Christmas markets.
