Mother Anders is just different: loud, wild, and without a fixed home—because her home lies in the “Otherworld.” She tells her own story: a story of witches, a story of women—from the dawn of time to the present day.
A story so unusual, so crazy, that it hardly seems believable. And yet it could have happened exactly like that—or perhaps quite differently? What happened long ago has left a collective wound. But from this wound, new strength emerges—a source of power for those witches who escaped the fire.
