The American stand-up comedian with his new show “Pause for Laughter”

Mordechi “Modi” Rosenfeld is one of the most popular stand-up comedians in the US. With a keen eye for detail and a sense of humor that is “biting but never hurtful,” he captivates audiences around the world.

“Respect and humor can coexist without any problems. Good humor brings people together,” he emphasizes. “It allows us to see things from new perspectives.”

After his sold-out shows in 2023, the New Yorker is now returning to Berlin with his brand-new program Pause for Laughter. The audience can look forward to a special break – full of humor, lightness, and spontaneity. Modi loves interaction: he reacts to heckling with lightning speed, making every evening a unique experience.

“The Berlin audience was overwhelmingly warm and full of energy – the atmosphere was extraordinary,” he enthuses. The city itself also made a lasting impression on him: “You can feel the history here, as well as the creativity and resilience of its inhabitants. It all seems to be organically interwoven.”

The evening will kick off with Israeli stand-up comedian Ori Halevy, who has been based in Berlin for years and is known for the successful Epic Comedy Berlin format.
