To mark Boulez's 100th birthday, Michael Wendeberg presents his complete piano oeuvre in a comprehensive concert program – a fascinating journey through the avant-garde composer's compositional development:
from the Douze Notations, which Boulez wrote at the age of 20, to the groundbreaking Second Piano Sonata and Incises from the 1990s. The final piece is a recently published fragment of the unfinished Third Sonata.
