Which images linger in the memory? A special place, a view from the window, a landscape, a face or an entirely ordinary moment.
Take some time to look more closely at a personal memory and translate it into your own image. Starting from a specific moment, you’ll use carbon paper to create shapes, lines and traces that do not simply reproduce the scene, but bring the memory to life in their own unique way.
Through transfer, friction and layering, you’ll experiment with imprints, repetitions and variations. In this way, a personal memory gradually transforms into a unique composition.
