In her unpublished lyrical legacy, the unknown wife Elena Ratscheva-Müller vividly portrays the German petty bourgeoisie from the perspective of a Bulgarian migrant. In this international co-production, based on forgotten essays and poems, mother and son enter into a political-emotional dialogue between this side and the other, yesterday and today, Bulgaria and Germany, "masc" and "fem". How much of our parents lives on in us...?
