The exhibition "MEAT UTOPIA" highlights the emerging solar punk movement and presents over 30 artists whose digital artworks convey a hopeful, vibrant and radiant vision of a sustainable and resilient world.
In this world, people, nature, animals and technology have the opportunity to exist on an equal footing with one another, and exploitation is a thing of the past - a real utopia.
The digital artworks, including works by solar punk pioneers such as Rita Fei and Félix Riaño, present breathtaking images of nature, often linked to unused technology or architecture. The depictions range from ornamental works inspired by Art Nouveau to photorealistic worlds that literally captivate the viewer.
Part of the exhibition is particularly dedicated to the role that nutrition, especially meat consumption, plays in shaping a future worth living.
