Composer, pianist, producer, Max Richter is one of the most outstanding figures of the contemporary music scene. From synthesizers and computers to symphony orchestras, Richter's work includes solo albums, ballets, concert hall performances, film and television series, video art installations, and plays. His most recent project, The New Four Seasons, was released in 2022 to mark the tenth anniversary of his Vivaldi Recomposed project, in which the work was re-recorded with period instruments.
He is classically trained, having studied at Edinburgh University, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and completed his studies with composer Luciano Berio in Florence.
