Photojournalist Ziv Koren documents the horrors of the terror in Israel on October 7, 2023, as well as the suffering and struggle of family members hoping for the return of their loved ones. In collaboration with the Embassy of the State of Israel in Germany, the Berlin House of Representatives is exhibiting some of its pictures to jointly commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks.

Hamas' military attack on Israel on October 7th last year shocked the entire world. Over a thousand terrorists invaded various locations in Israel by land, sea and air and carried out a horrific massacre. Families and individuals were killed in their homes, on the streets and at a music festival taking place in the area. Citizens were also kidnapped in the Gaza Strip. In total, almost 1,200 people were murdered, thousands were injured and over 240 were taken hostage.

The atrocities committed by the terrorist organization Hamas in Israel, the riots at demonstrations in Germany and the frightening increase in anti-Semitic crimes require the public to be informed about the events.

The exhibition can be viewed in the foyer of the House of Representatives from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until April 12, 2024. Plenary Thursdays and public holidays are excluded. Admission is free.
