Berliner Symphoniker, John Warner, Michał Balas
The second symphony concert moves impressively between major and minor, light and shadow, lightness and melancholy. On November 9th, the symphony orchestra will perform Joseph-Maurice Ravel's impressive Kaddish – a moving setting of the most important Jewish prayer – as well as Antonín Dvořák's emotionally charged Cello Concerto in B minor, marked by the grief of his childhood sweetheart, Josephine. The concert concludes with Johannes Brahms' Third Symphony.
