Children, bring your grown-ups! Adults, bring your children! At SCHRUMPF!, Berlin ensembles present their current productions – in a family format. New art forms are discovered, places are explored, movements are tried out, sounds are listened to – and everyone can join in!
Three dancers, several dance styles, and countless invisible connections to be traced: In Traces, the artists of Walashé Kollektiv explore social, friendly, fleeting, and other connections using Afro-diasporic dance styles such as popping, krump, and house. They reflect on collective history and serendipitous exchange, revealing the diversity of interactions and encounters that shape everyone's life.
In the midst of the dance installation, the audience becomes an active part of the performance and shapes the space through their participation – including conversations with the dancers and chalk prints. Come along, leave traces!
