Lizzy McAlpine will also be performing live in Germany as part of her ‘The Over Country 2027’ tour

The tour announcement follows the release of McAlpine’s fourth album, *Angel*, which was released last week via Indigo Blue/RCA Records. *Angel* was recorded and produced over a period of almost two years in and around Los Angeles, in collaboration with long-standing collaborators Mason Stoops (Miley Cyrus, ROLE MODEL, Mumford & Sons) and Taylor Mackall(ROLE MODEL, Tiny Habits), and marks a significant sonic evolution for McAlpine – a rich tapestry of classical and contemporary influences, ranging from 1970s Laurel Canyon folk to 21st-century indie.

The album was created during a period of profound self-discovery and documents McAlpine’s return to her true self through themes of love, heartbreak and the enduring nature of community and friendship.

*Angel* and *The Over Country Tour* build on the success of McAlpine’s 2024 album *Olderan*, which was highly acclaimed by critics and led to a sold-out international tour, with sold-out concerts at Radio City Music Hall, the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and venues across the UK, Australia and Europe.
