Several times a year, the Apollosaal is transformed into a song salon and a performance venue for choral music. Soloists from the State Opera Ensemble and members of the International Opera Studio cultivate the genre of art song in all its richness and diversity, while the various choral ensembles based at the venue develop and perform their own programs.

Lange Nacht des Liedes
A particular highlight will be the specially created, inaugural „Lange Nacht des Liedes“ in early summer 2026, during which the ensemble will present a wide variety of styles and facets of the lied over the course of an entire evening and into the early hours of the night in a salon-like atmosphere.
