Readings

Short stories have their own unique magic. They offer a brief glimpse through the keyhole into fantastical worlds that disappear as quickly as they appeared, yet always leave something behind in us. Are you currently writing a short story yourself? Or do you enjoy listening to them? Then come and enjoy a few “shorties” at Short Stories Night!

Here, amateur and up-and-coming authors share their own short stories and welcome your feedback. Everyone is welcome! Don't let your scribbles gather dust in your drawers! Nothing is more exciting than immersing yourself in the fictional worlds of other people. Those who show up can then tell you what your stories did to them. If that's not motivation to pick up a pen and start writing, what is?

Tonight's topic: POWER DIFFERENTIAL

Moderator Patrick Jütte is actually a filmmaker. It was during a short film evening that the idea came to him: Why don't we do the same with written short stories? Then the film plays out in your head. He was already pregnant with the idea for Short Stories Night. He himself had never given birth to a completed short story. But this baby is now supposed to motivate all amateur writers to do better than him. So please, we're all ears!
