In the interactive game “Compost Horror,” you work your way through the compost layer by layer as dung beetles, earthworms, and larvae—a race against time.
Warning: Mean opponents lurk in every compost level; behind every banana peel, an unexpected attack awaits—absolute horror.
Competing against you: a team of actors from Parkaue and Theater Thikwa. Who will ultimately create the ground for new life?
In “Compost Horror,” artists Manuel Gerst and Leonie Graf translate the recycling cycle of the compost ecosystem into an interactive game.
In it, questions of sustainability and personal responsibility are explored in the age of human-induced climate change.
