Musical theatre for the whole family by BorgolleVonScholle
A clownish programme of story songs full of endearing humour, bizarre physical theatre and poetic music.
A Tiny Little Adventure tells the story of two best friends. Bolle and Knolle experience how a day that is actually quite ordinary suddenly becomes a particularly unusual but most beautiful day of the year. In the process, they learn that true friendship can withstand just about anything, even when the very last crumb of the most delicious cake is repeatedly nibbled away by the same person... (‘...and I'm not referring to anyone in particular, Knolle...’).
Bolle and Knolle talk about their friendship, their deepest secrets, their dizzying flying adventures, runaway horses, bees dancing ballet, really big arguments, little root tumbleweeds, and reveal how to trick mosquitoes – and because words alone are not enough for all this, they sing and play along, and dance so hard that it knocks them out of their shoes!
A play for the whole family, ages 4 and up. In German language
In 2020, Elise Maria Ose and Christine Steuber founded the musical theatre duo BorgolleVonScholle in Leipzig. Since then, they have been performing their story song programmes throughout Germany on cabaret stages, in theatres, circus tents, primary schools, and at theatre and music festivals. They accompany the songs in their clownish programme themselves on piano, accordion, flute, ukulele, and lots of percussion. Now and then they are joined by Babett Niclas on the harp and guitarist Martin Steuber.
