Jan Klare left little out. His biography refers to concerts in many countries, dozens of CD/radio/TV productions and collaborations with "names". Various awards attest to the quality of his work - he is the founder of the orchestra "The Dorf", refers to a master class at the New England Conservatory in Boston, the football opera "Duell D/NL 74", the co-founding of the label "Umland Records", compositions for "new music" ensembles as well as the WDR BigBand, a piece for two wind orchestras/ Gospel choir/rock band/church bells and pyrotechnics Klare sees his work as “sociological field research” about listening habits...

Ignaz Schick is a Berlin based sound artist, composer & visual artist. He also performs as instrumentalist on turntables, sampler, objects, electronics & alto/baritone saxophone.
He studied the saxophone & performed in free jazz & avant rock bands. At the same time he was getting obsessed with multitrack tape machines, record players or effect boxes & he started experimenting with self built instruments & sound making devices. After college he briefly studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich & worked as an assistant for contemporary composer Josef Anton Riedl. Since 1995 he lives/works in Berlin where he became an active & integral force of the so-called "Berlin Nouvelle Vague" & the blossoming "Echtzeitmusik" scene. He has been prolific as curator (Festival für Andere Musik, Erase & Reset, Time Shifts, TITO, Echtzeitmusiktage 2010, Flux Festival 2018, Fuchsfest 2021, REFLUX Festival 2022, ...) & runs the experimental music label Zarek.
He tours worldwide solo & with groups like Perlonex, Phosphor, Berlin Sound Connective, Nighthawk Kitchen, Tree People, Splitter Orchestra or ILOG and he has released over 75 albums on many international labels & his own imprint. He has collaborated with more than 200 international sonic artists – amongst others Mwata Bowden, John Butcher, Don Cherry, Douglas R. Ewart, Limpe Fuchs, Sven-Åke Johansson, George Lewis, Paul Lovens, Toshimaru Nakamura, Charlemagne Palestine, Andrea Parkins, Andrea Neumann, Keith Rowe, Akira Sakata or Martin Tetreault.
Since 2012 he concentrates on conceptual composition, sound installations & research in different cities of the Global South. He directs the 12-15 piece workshop ensemble Circuit Training which focuses on conceptual, graphic & verbally instructed scores.

Jan Roder, geb, 1968,lebt nach diversen Zwischenstationen, seit 1995 in Berlin und widmet dort seine Zeit dem zeitgenössischen freien Jazz und improvisierter Musik. Projekte wie „Monks Casino", „Die Enttäuschung", „Soko Steidle", „Silke Eberhard Trio” u.v.a., spielt mit Alexander v. Schlippenbach, Aki Takase, Rudi Mahall, Axel Dörner, Ulrich Gumpert, Olaf Rupp u.v.a. ,Konzerte und Festivals in aller Welt. Der Schlagzeuger Joe Hertenstein, 1977, lebte in Lahr, Karlsruhe, München, Rotterdam, Berlin, Köln und New York City. Seit 2020 lebt er wieder fest in Berlin als Teil der Szenen des zeitgenössischen Jazz und der Improvisierten Musik.
