At various stations in the cell block—and in the garden if the weather permits—the two chefs and their teams will serve extraordinary dishes as hors d’oeuvres: creative compositions that transform familiar flavors into surprising culinary journeys. Grilled finger foods round out the menu, and trusted partners will accompany the evening with sparkling wine, wine, and premium non-alcoholic drinks.
Art complements the cuisine: painter Joseph Stracic is presenting his exhibition “Manege frei” in the cell block. In addition, local artist Christine Jackob-Marks is opening her studio spaces. Those who wish can also take a first look at the building’s rooms currently under construction while enjoying an aperitif.
Between aperitifs in the summer garden, art in former prison cells, and Michelin-star-quality finger food, it will be an evening that can only happen in this unique setting. “A summer evening full of indulgence, art, and wonderful encounters—this is exactly what this place is made for,” says host Janina Atmadi.
After the official program, the evening will come to a stylish close at the “Fuchs & Hase” bar in the former prayer hall.
